MR. ROJAS'S STATEMENT
"This time around I chose a Piece of Artwork that was unapologetically a CAKE. As it looked as one ready to be made in a 3D Physical Piece, but that’s where the challenge for me was. Something so obvious and simple in my head has to be deconstructed and constructed back again while keeping the idea alive. Which is very much a recurrent thing in everything I do. I need to know how they worked from the inside, sometimes taking them apart before proceeding to re arrange it not in the same way but following the same idea. A distortion of some kind."
